User Interface | Administrator Interface | Configurability
The Deskspace User Interface (Ui) has been under continous development since 1998 and has consistently stayed ahead of current trends.
A typical Deskspace interface will provide maximum screen real estate for your information and use a minimum possible amount of space for the Deskspace UI itself, commensurate with providing the user with contextual help and a consistent range of Tools and Functions.
The amount of information a power user wants on each screen greatly exceeds that required by a basic data entry user, for whom "Less is More". Every Deskspace installation offers each type of user what they want and enables the system administrator to change the access level given to each user on both an individual and a group basis.
The main modular navigation is always at the top giving instant access to related information anywhere else in the system.
At the bottom of the main system screen is an Info Bar, giving the user information and messages; a Function Bar giving one click access to any relevant functions or routines and the ToolBar which is always there offering the same range of services to users in any data module or mode.
Here is an example of a simple CRM interface, part of a system including Warehouse Management and Accounting:

However, interfaces can be restrained, or colourful, according to the client's requirement. Here is a Post Production "Rainbow" Interface showing the Deskspace Virtual Whiteboard giving and instant overview of work on any selection of Jobs:

Here is a similar Post Production Pro Virtual Whiteboard using our Charcoal theme:
