Deskspace understands Paediatric ADHD Practice

Deskspace D10, the latest version of the groundbreaking frameworks based Integrated Professional Information System was released June 1st, 2009. The first deployment was at the Learning Assessment & Neurocare Centre, Horsham, West Sussex UK.

The LANC's founder Dr Geoff Kewley - a world renowned consultant paediatrician - specialising in ADHD and associated conditions, has been running Deskspace systems since early 2000.

Dr Kewley commented "this new version of Deskspace is certainly very easy to use and significantly faster in practice than previous versions. We also particularly like the new simpler look and feel of the user interface."

"Installing D10 will help us to run the practice more efficiently, reducing our costs and enabling us to provide our client's and patients with a better service" he continued.

Deskspace CEO Nick Lightbody commented that the company had invested an intensive six months work in overhauling the entire system introducing greater simplicity, power and flexibility through full utilisation of the important new abilities of the recently released FileMaker Pro 10.

"The result of our redesign is that users can now access and edit their data significantly faster - whilst still retaining full data security - than was previously possible."

"The stunning new interface design has proved very popular with users" he continued.

The first deployment of D10 was of the Paediatric / ADHD Practice Organiser (PADO) version. A version configured for US Attorney's is scheduled to follow whilst configurations for Post Production and Brand Management are also planned as upgrades for existing users.

Deskspace Director Nick Lightbody was invited to present PAPO to Forum members at the Spring Conference in York 2009.

The first UK National Paediatric ADHD Network Meeting took place on Wednesday 28th March 2007 in York, during the spring meeting of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. It was attended by 23 paediatricians from all over the UK. This meeting was arranged to get an opportunity for the paediatricians to share information among themselves, who are involved in the care and management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children."

This resulted in the establishment of the George Still Forum.

"There is an increasing number of ADHD patients countrywide, highlighting the shortfall in resources and extending waiting times for the new assessments. This situation is posing an extra burden and is causing burn out amongst ADHD clinicians."

Based on a decade of providing specialist information management systems to a leading practitioner in this area, Dr Geoffrey Kewley of the Learning Assessment & Neurocare Centre in Horsham West Sussex, we are pleased to announce the Pre-Launch of a new version of our easy-to-use information system developed specifically to meet the needs of Paediatric practitioners specialising in ADHD and related conditions.

It is called "Paediatric / ADHD Practice Organiser" (PAPO).

This is what Deskspace Director Nick Lightbody had to say.
